To our delight we noticed that the library uses several Standard Stepmobiles in a variety of colours around the library to help visitors reach for the top shelves! These sturdy and easily moveable steps suit the décor and purpose brilliantly, being the perfect choice for a self-service library such as this.

Besides books, visitors can relax and listen to literary classics in story chairs, enjoy a game of Scrabble or have a go at writing their own literary masterpiece on an old-fashioned typewriter. The library is also hosting a series of exciting events until 1st of March.

Neil will be available for a day to work with children, parents and library staff. He will lead fun and interactive storytimes, and provide an inspirational training opportunity to adults on how to tell stories at their very best.

The award is open to any school library that has been built or refurbished within the previous year. The winning entries will have the opportunity to spend on products for their library from the Gresswell or LFC (another of our sister companies) catalogues.

Earlier this autumn we asked you to rate these indulgent page markers, and thanks to a landslide of votes we have decided to include some of these tantalising scents to our next year’s catalogue!

From November 22, we will be giving out five sampling sets of these bookmarks (one of each scent in a set) on Twitter so make sure you follow us @GresswellUK and keep an eye on our tweets at 11am!
